Very nice machine - poor lighting
This is a lovely machine. I've been sewing with it now for almost 9 months on nearly a daily basis, and have had no problems with it. The one issue I would note is that the light is terrible, and you definitely need to have additional lighting on the area around the needle. This is very challenging because the machine is not metal, so magnetized auxiliary lights don't work, and the one that I really liked needed to be fastened to the machine with adhesive, and stopped working after two weeks. Otherwise, the machine sews beautifully and is very lightweight.

User-Friendly, Quiet, Lovely Experience.
I like this machine: great design, quiet, user-friendly. This love story is beginning. Brother DZ2750 computerized machine is replacing my 15-year-old Kenmore mechanical machine. The new machine comes warranties: 1-year warranty for Parts, Labor and Accessory Items; 2-years for Electronic Components and Printed Circuit Boards; 25-years for Chassis Casting. 5-Stars.

Wife loves it - uses 2-4 times a week
This was a gift for my wife - she absolutely loves it. Been using it for about a year + and not even a single hiccup - it just works. It is quiet, powerful, flexible with a lot of options (wife uses most of them). Not many machines could say the same and ones like 'singer' are no longer in the game in our opinion.

Sews even the most annoying material
So happy with this machine! I had to sew two Santa costumes for SantaCon last year, using stretchy crushed velvet and thick-as-heck white fur. The sewing machine was unphased. I've seen so many reviewers hate on plastic machines. What are you making, leather saddles? Unless you're doing industrial sewing, I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Designio. My mom's old metal Elnita could barely survive a stitch without jamming on these types of fabrics. I've had this Brother for almost a year now and I have not had a single problem.
