Authentic Brother Sewing SA127 - Narrow Hem Foot

For narrow rolled hemming use the Brother SA127 Narrow Hem Foot. The unique design of the Brother SA126 Narrow Hem Foot creates a flat narrow hem on lightweight fabrics. This foot looks similar to the picot foot from the top. However the groove under the foot is slightly wider and flatter form and to create a beautiful narrow hem.

This item came in quickly, got here safely, and has been a great addition to my sewing box! The instructions were easy to understand and created just the hem for which I purchased this!

Did a great job in the satin wedding dress I made for my daughter's wedding. Love having this accessory handy for a completed more finished look!

    Beautiful hems!

Once I figured out how to use it, I'm stoked! Small hems will be much easier now. It pops on like the other feet. I just have to get the hem started but that's the easy part. As long as you can keep a constant pull on the fabric, you get a perfect small hem.

I love it! Beautiful clean look that is so much faster than hand rolling and nicer then a serged edge. There is a learning curve to get the hang of starting the roll, and I watched youtube videos to try to help, but I felt like they were struggling. I found an easier way: Hand roll the beginning and sew an inch (under the foot). Lift the foot, lift the needle and pull the fabric back about a 1/2-3/4 inches so you are past the edge rolling. Push the right side edge into the roll of the foot, (sometimes you need a pin to pull it over and into it) then once it's in the roll, carefully pull the fabric back towards you until it stops from the stitches that are already sewn. Put the foot and the needle down and you will have loose thread in you needle from pulling it back. Just wind up your spool to tighten it back up. Hold the right side of the fabric as you sew so it is forming a little "u" to the left. For feeding seams, trim 45 degrees and they feed through, but you have to go slow when you get to them.
