If you don't have a serger this Is a Good tool for you! I use this foot to raw edges and looks really good!

Good, but different than the one that comes with the machine
I broke my overlock foot that came with my machine (marked G) after accidentally choosing the wrong stitch width. The force of the needle was enough to snap the small metal bar that used to separate the left and right side of the stitches. I ordered this replacement foot and it seems to work fine, but it is different in design from the other foot. It has a large metal spatula that sits perpendicular to the fabric and overhangs the front of the foot. This part is much larger than the former metal bar on the old foot. There is also a larger/wider metal bar that separates the left and right stitches so there is probably no danger of it snapping again if the needle were to hit it again. Overall, I think it's an improvement over the old foot.

Does the Job
I lost my overlock vertical foot for my Brother and needed to replace it right away. I ordered this replacement, it arrived timely and worked just like the original that came with my machine giving me the ability to have clean overlocked edges on the pieces I was working on.
