Just what I needed!
The foot that came with my Brother sewing machine broke, and this is the perfect replacement. I was really pleased to discover that this one is even sturdier than the one that came with my machine.

Arrived within a timely fashion. Very good quality. Is everything that sight described it to be. Highly recommend for anyone in need of Overlock foot for their Brother sewing machine. It also works on my old 1974 Singer sewing machine because of the low shaft.

If you need to finish an edge but don't have a serger
Watched some tutorials before using this and practiced on some scrap fabric before hand. Worked great! I know I need a serger but this seems like a great stand in for finished edges!

Good Fix Until Your Hubby Buys You A Serger...
This foot makes me and my husband happy! Me because I can finish my seams/ edges with a professional look; my husband because he doesn't have to shell out the dough for a serger....quite yet (wink). Fits my Brother machine perfectly.

Great alternative to a serger machine if you can't afford to splurge on one
My go-to foot for securing seams! This foot is a good substitute for the use of a serger if you can't afford to splurge on one. I prefer to sew straight to create the seam, and then go over the edge of the seam with this overlock foot to secure the edge of the seam. So far the items that I've made with this foot have good wearability and I'm less worried about having to wash them. I definitely recommend this foot!

Good replacement for feet broken by this forgetful sewist
I switch between a straight center stitch and an overlock frequently, and sometimes I forget to switch my stitch settings after I switch feet, so end up attempting to stitch through the overlock foot. The little tab the stitches collect on and then slide off of will get nailed by the needle. Most of the time, the needle breaks, but after a few of these batterings, that tab gives, as well. I wish that little tab was more durable, but it is nice to be able to purchase these feet as necessary. In my studio, they are a consumable resourse, like needles or thread, so I end up buying a couple at a time.

Serger like results!
I have a brother CS6000i. Even though this is not one of the listed machines, it works perfectly w/it. My edges look serged! I was considering purchasing a serger and learning how to use one but won't, at least not anytime soon. Money/time saved!

Better than the one that came with my machine
I purchased this foot to replace the one that came with my brother machine, as I broke it. This is a little different than the one that came with the machine, but that is a good thing. This one gives a better edge than the previous one. Very happy with my purchase. Hopefully I won't need another new one anytime soon.
