Brothers SA147 7mm Open Toe Foot
Again, I am very well pleased with this product. I have purchased several sewing products,( sewing machine parts,) for my sewing machines from Amazon, and it's vendors.( I use them on various machines and they work well on most all of them.) This one will be well used too, for my decorative work, and work that I need to see well for the patterns. I received this foot very promptly, & in excellent condition! I appreciate the great service! Thanks!!!!

What a difference this presser foot makes! It is actually an "open toe" foot and I can really see what I am doing. I am new at appliqueing and I feel much better with my outcome using this foot rather than the "N" foot where I was looking through plastic. I have a Brother CS6000i machine and the foot fits just fine.

Just what I needed
I ordered this foot for my brother machine and it is easy to take on and off. I use it so I can see my needle as I applique art quilts. I like it better than my open toed quilting foot, that bounces up and down so you can move the fabric. This foot stays down and holds the fabric in place and the feed dogs move the fabric from below. Which is what I needed. Hope this helps.

A must have for anyone that wants to applique with a sewing machine. It offers great visibility and a wide foot so I can use some decorative stitches like a blanket stitch or zig zag stitch.

Will Improve My Quilting and Appliqueing
I recently moved to a city that has only 1 Brother dealer, and they have few accessories. Finding this much needed foot, and it being an actual Brother product has pleased me no end. It fits perfectly and there is no wobbling since it's not a generic foot. I do a wide variety of quilting and this open toe foot makes machine applique go much faster and with greater success due to the wide open toe and clear plastic composition.

Finally able to see what I sew!
I received my open-toe foot a few days ago and immediately put it on my machine -- no problems with fit. What a difference in sewing ease! For the first time since I bought my Brother machine, I can see what I'm doing. I can see exactly where the needle will hit, and can follow markings, real or imagined, on the fabric. I only wish that Brother would have made an open-toe foot standard for their machines. Why would anybody not want to use this foot instead of one that blocks the view of stitches?
