    Basic but necessary

Posted by A. Gray on 13th Jul 2018

I have used this foot for a few months now and feel it's a necessity to have if you sew a lot. It is durable/heavy and has many markings on it from 1/8" up to 13/16", and the outer edge of the foot itself is exactly at 1" which is handy. The only negative with this foot is that none of the markings are marked in any way to identify or distinguish them. I found that I could take permanent markers in various colors and outline the more heavily used ones (1/4", 5/8", etc.) so I could quickly identify them when sewing and this works great. This has become my primary foot and makes for precise seam allowances, especially on curved seams.
