Works on Brother PC8500
I bought this item for my Brother PC8500. As my machine is older , I took a chance this would fit and it does! . As others have mentioned, when using this foot make sure to move your needle to the center position. The Brother PC8500 defaults to the left position. If you forget, as I did, you will hear a very loud grinding noise from your machine and break your needle..

Very useful tool for keeping an accurate 1/4 inch seam. Being new to sewing and quilting, most of my quilting blocks are of different sizes, which is quite frustrating and discouraging. All the pieces were cut precisely the same measurement. It was my problem with the seam allowances. With this foot, my problem is solved. All my quilt blocks are now almost perfect in measurement. I'm now a happy quilter.

worth the money
This foot is a life saver for me I got it last night along with my new brother machine and it was so helpful. I love not having to mark my quarter inch seam lines. and they are much more consistent as well.

love my 1/4" foot
The High-Quality 1/4in. Patchwork Foot w/Guide (SA185) (ESG-QGF) works good on my Brother xr9500prw sewing/quilting machine, I had also got my mom one for her singer but it didn't work on it, hers has a slanted pressure foot and more narrow bar on her machine foot, I will be ordering again from this company thanks so much for the prompt service Maxine T.
