Helps take out the guesswork
This little helper is amazing. I use it on my Brother CS6000i for all my quilt piecing. Just edge the fabric up against that right side, and you're good to go with a standard seam. No trying to see the other side, no sticking any guides/tape/postit notes to your machine to clean off later. Just unclip the current foot, put this one under, and lower the presser to click it right on. You could say it's my "right-hand" tool!

Pretty good
I bought this as the one with my machine wasn't true 1/4" inch. The guide bar on this is not right, so I just broke it off and use the gauge that came with my machine. It works fine for measuring 1/4" but my problem is that the prongs in the front there are very short so the foot doesn't grasp the fabric very well at start point and I always have to lift foot, move fabric closer, drop foot and then begin to sew. No big deal I guess.. just an extra step.

This is just great to have. It makes your sewing go quicker when seaming those long strait lines or quilting a 1/4" seam without having to worry about your seam allowance being off. Just keep that fabric against the guard and your all set!

The guide on this foot is great and for a great price. Just be cognizant that the needle hole in only centered in the foot, so my default stitch on my Brother CS6000i has to be moved over to stitch 01. Even though I know this, I have forgotten and still broken a needle. But it's a great value!!! And for being new with the sewing machine, it's helped me keep my quarter inch seam nice and even! :)

Most amazing thing I have bought for sewing. Everybody said you should get one, well I finally did and I don't know how I have made it through life without using one. Simple to use and I have perfect seams.

Fits Brother sewing machine perfectly and works great
Very nice foot! It actually feeds fabric better than my normal sewing machine foot. The quarter inch measurement is very accurate, & I wish I hadn't waited 25 years to buy one of these! It's amazing how reasonably priced sewing machine feet have become. I use this on a Brother innovis sewing and embroidery machine.

Fantastic foot for keeping seams even
I was awful at doing an even 1/4 inch seam before I got this foot. Really terrible. This is pretty no-fail- you line up your fabric against the little guide. As long as you keep the edge of your fabric there you will get a nice even seam. Can't imagine piecing a quilt without now. (Edited because the auto-title thing put "really terrible" as the first two words. Which was a comment on my sewing, NOT the foot. The foot is great.)
