Brother Scan and Cut 12" x 12" Standard Cutting Mat

Love these mats. They work perfect for paper. If they loose their tack quick you can use the removeable scotch tape on the corners of your paper too.

Ideal mat to use when cutting vinyl such as Stahls' or Siser. Just the right amount of hold to keep the vinyl secured while being cut. I use several of these when I'm cutting 12"x12" designs over & over again. Very pleased with the performance of these mats.

Durable... also you can use goof off to remove product instead of buying a new one all the time then whatever preferred brand of sticky spray and it's like brand new

This is the first mat I have had to order since I started using my ScanNCut a year ago. The mat is made for the Brother ScanNCut so I expect it to work perfectly. I always buy the brand that made the original machine so there is no problem.

When I found out there was a 15" x 12" mat, I moved to that one. I like to cut as many things as possible in one setting. The mats are good and last a long time when taken care of

It also works fine but also needs more tack to hold paper or material what your cutting

I already have had this and can say it works fine for what it is designed for the Brother scan n cut. I am replacing this one with the one I just cut through with my deep cut blade. I have still used it by duck taping the back and cutting 12 stamps from craft foam by using an uncut section of the mat. To fix the cut mat I turned it over and duct taped the back to get me through my project. However I do recommend buying a new mat as the duct tape side made my mat slide around till I figured out to use the mat and place my design on a quadrant that did not have duct tape on the back. I look forward to getting my new mat I order two of these to have a spare. Price was very good and reasonable will order again from here. Update My review above is for the brother Scan N Cut standard mat. This is for the middle tac mat. I got this yesterday. I notice it is a bit heavier then the standard and the low tac mats. I think this one would be good for cutting out craft foam and heavier materials then fabric and standard card stock etc. I would also think this is the one to use for chipboard and vinyl and magnet sheets. I think this is the one to use with the deep cut blade set at recommended settings for that type of material. I have not used it yet but it could be a good possibility that I could use this for all materials and not use the standard or low tac mats. We will see. Brother is very good at making new products to use with the Brother Scan N Cut. Low tac mat is used for copy paper and light materials and light weight fabric. Standard tac mat is used for card stock and cotton fabric medium weight fabric Middle tac mat is for heavier card stock heavier then standard material, craft foam vinyl magnet sheets chipboard. The standard and low tac mats also come in the sizes of 12x24 for material longer then 12' long. Fabric and card stock etc. Maybe the will add a middle tac mat too.
