Nice and Sharp
I really liked these and would give them a 5 star but for the fact they were not make in Germany as I had anticipated but in China. That is really a let down for me as I try and stay away from China made things these days which is not easy. I sew a lot and these work very well for thread nipping.

Great for my knitting bag!
I searched high and low (and tried many, many pair) for scissors that would work with my knitting. These are super sharp, small enough for a pocket and securely covered so I don't cut myself when I stick my hand in my bag. I lost my first pair after a year or so and tried to make do with some others, but eventually had to buy another pair. Totally worth it!

Quick, easy, must have sewing notion.
This is a great little thread snipper. Easy, quicker than scissors when you are quilting and need to snip a quick thread out of the way. Very happy with my purchase, use these whenever I sew.

A must have for any crafter
I already had a pair of these, but wanted another. I bought them for tatting because they are prefect for cutting worked in thread nice and close without damaging your work. I soon found myself using the for other projects. great for sewing to rip seams, knitting, crochet and cross stitch. I love that you can slip then your pocket with out fear of poking self or the pain of unfolding. Blades are way sharp and nice and fine to get in tight places.

Best snips ever.
Love these snips they were great for backstage. Because they can hang on my lanyard and don't pop open.

Gingher Clippers
I love this little gadget. it's sharp and cuts thread clean with no fraying. I keep the clippers with my needles and thread for whsn i do hand sewing and a separate one in my machine.

nice and sharp - no problem traveling with these
nice and sharp - no problem traveling with these. A vast improvement in the design from the one I used years ago. If you have arthritisis in your hands, you could have some issues getting the cap on and off. Otherwise, the compact design fits into a tote or project bag nicely. Also has a little square ring on top to connect to a neck lariat.

Well designed
I am new to sewing, my sister suggested I should get some small clippers. I cam across these and was interested because of the name brand. I give Gingher Scizzors as gifts because of the quality. I really like these. They dont take up much room around the machine, are easy to pick up and use, dont have to worry about putting fingers in holes; they have a cap to cover the cutting blades, all around a great item to have in your sewing kit
