Keep This In Your Sewing Box
This is a handy tool. Very sharp, will definitely use this in future. Minor details: Made in Pakistan, did have scratches on the handle AND the plastic cap. I found that I can over look the imperfections for the value of this seam ripper/scalpel.

Best little tool !
I saw this rated highly in Quilter's Home Magazine. It is probably the best seam ripper ever. It is very,very sharp. However, because of this you need to take great care when using it. There is a cover available but it is easy to lose the cover or forget to put it on. Looks and feels like a surgical knife which is why it works so great. Common sense and care need to be taken to avoid any injury to yourself and this should not be left around children. That said, you will find your "ripping" times less frustrating as the tool will shorten the time necessary to complete this tedious deed.

these are easy to use
These are REALLY sharp. If you gotta unsew, these are easy to use. Handle is not ergonomic but you don't have to grip it either. I've already sliced my thumb and just touched the blade to it. BE CAREFUL - they are surgical blades.

Never knew this existed. I was using an Exacto knife to rip out those pesky stitches. This is hundred times better for seam ripping.
