GREAT - I had one for years and years but base was plastic and it finally snapped in half. Tough using that tiny blade all by its lonesome. Hoping this will work out much better as I guess I am rather tough on my tools. Thank you. Extra blades a big bonus!

This thing is very sharp. Makes cutting through thread very easy. Comes with a nice cover for the blade so you won't stick yourself getting it out of the drawer.

I wish I had met this sweet little seam ripper sooner. I absolutely love it. I was kinda afraid to try it because I thought I would cut my fabric, but this is not a problem at all. I highly recommend this seam ripper.

This is one sturdy, sharp, get-the-job-undone seam ripper. As an avid quilter, I wish I didn't know how darned well this product works! Alas, I'm human and prone to errors. I'm glad I have my handy Ultra Pro to help me un-do my mistakes. Be careful, though. This baby is sharp and will rip more than your errant thread.

Rip out that stitching FAST!
This seam ripper makes quick work out of an irritating process - ripping out those mistakes! Be careful when using because it IS sharp. Also I keep it stored with the plastic cap - it's sharp! Awesome product.

Very good seam ripper
Sharp and easy to use. I ordered it for ripping seams in worn denim jeans so I could use the jeans in other projects. Performed very well on those heavy threads and made the job much easier. True the plastic cover for the blade doesn't fit well, but I keep this and my rotary cutters put away safely anyway because my great grand children are curious little stinkers if they get loose in the sewing area.

This will spoil you for using the old style seam rippers
I saw a similar seam ripper years ago in a sewing magazine and wanted one. This is essentially a super sharp scalpel style ripper that can cut through even thick embroidery easily. It definitely needs to be locked away if there are children in the home. I have a locking toolbox that can hold sewing scissors and other sharps like this ripper that I don't want misused for non-sewing purposes or loose where a visiting child could hurt themselves. I highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who sews or does machine embroidery. It really helps to prevent hand fatigue that can occur with those tiny little traditional seam rippers that often come with beginner sewing kits or in a sewing machine accessory kit. This super sharp seam ripper is worth every penny!
