I love this seam ripper
I love this seam ripper! It's easier to use than the U-shaped kind because you can access tighter spaces. The only drawback is that it's basically a scalpel, so you have to be very careful using it.

Wow, it works!
I do a lot of quilting and also a lot of "unquilting". This seam ripper really does a great job! I would recommend it to a friend and actually purchased a second one to gift to a sister who quilts.

I used to use a single edge razor blade! The Havel is a great improvement. The blade is super sharp and it's easy to hold. Now I can 'un sew' with ease

Excellent tool for the job
A vast improvement over what I have used in the past. Very sharp and a good shape for using to remove stitching. I also like the idea of just replacing the blade and not throwing the whole tool away.

Very sharp & very effective
Please heed this (and all the other reviews w/warnings!) - this seam ripper is SHARP. I find myself having to be a little more careful with this seam ripper because I have cut right through the seams I'm attempting to cut and cutting right into the fabric, making unsightly holes (and once or twice sticking myself). But it is very nice to have a nice, sharp edge to work with.
