Havel's are always a excellent choice for sewing equipment!!!
I just got these and as I am starting a SAL on a Hardanger website that I found. I have already used these for the first block for the first montha nd they are wonderful. This is actually my second time purchasing a pair of this type of scissors and I can say that I am hopeful that this pair will last a lot longer than my first pair did just due to the way in which they are designed that and the fact that they seem sturdier than the first pair.

I own several of these snips. They are well made and easy on my hands especially we who have dexterity issues. I can snip threads so close that no tails show on top of fabric. They are excellent for trimming excess fabric around machine embroidered applique projects as well. This pair will be used at my longarm quilting machine. Havel's products are the best! Thanks Havels for offering such a great product.

Try not to drop them
These are just the best. They make it so easy to snip thread without cutting cloth. My first pair got lost when I moved, and I found I couldn't get along without them. Now, if they would just make them stay on the table--I'm going to have to break down and buy a third pair because I've dropped them point down so many times. They stuck into the hardwood floor and once into the wall. They still cut, just not very well near the tip. My solution to the dropping problem is a Command small caddy, by the way.

Excellent and very long-lasting!
I absolutely love these. I have had the same pair for 8 years and they are still going strong. The super-sharp points make seam-ripping so easy. Definitely a must-have for any seamstress, whether you do embroidery or not.
