The Janome 3128 is a compact mechanical sewing machine that is easy to use while having the power and features you need for many types of sewing. This versatile machine with convertible free arm has a built-in carry handle for easy portability and can easily sew through multiple layers of fabric and some thicker fabrics.
The 3128 comes with 8 built-in utility and stretch stitches that can be easily selected using the stitch selection dial on the front, and sews up to 650 spm. It includes a 4-step buttonhole stitch and offers a maximum stitch length of 4mm and width of 5mm. Other features include an easy-reverse stitch button, a 3-piece feed dog, extra high presser foot lift to give more working space, a vertical oscillating hook bobbin and simple push-pull bobbin winder, and easy lay-in threading.
The Janome 3128 includes various accessories including snap-on standard, ¼-inch and zigzag presser feet, a sliding buttonhole foot, bobbins and bobbin cases, needles, a foot control pedal, and a vinyl dust cover. inexpensive Janome model
Had not sewn in years. Only issue is the bobbin as stated in other reviews. But I can fix it after a few minutes. Brand referred by friend but a more expensive model but since not used much good for getting back in to sewing

Just Great
This is a small workhorse and I love it. It has sewn many layers of simple quilting and mended torn blue jeans and torn wool pants. It has surpassed my expectations

small and lightweight but strong
great little machine to take along to classes. My only complaint is that description says feed dogs drop but they do not. It free motion quilts well anyway. Happy with the machine at the price.

Janome machine
This machine delivers quality sewing in a small package. I use it primarily for quilt piecing. It's a wonderful weight for carrying to classes.This is not a machine you can use for everything, but is a good second machine. Very nice for lightweight sewing. Amazon was easy to order from & satisfied all my requirements.
