Designed with quilters in mind, the Janome 3160QDC-B offers the experience of a more expensive model at a pleasing price. This lightweight, computerized machine is a great option for avid quilters who prefer a simpler machine or want portability so they can quilt on the go.

The Janome 3160QDC-B offers 60 built-in stitches, including 6 1-step buttonhole stitches, all depicted in a stitch diagram on the machine. The large LED screen and push buttons make it easy to select and modify stitches. It also includes other timesaving features like needle up/down position memory, lock stitch, easy reverse, and a start/stop button. The 3160QDC-B is easy to thread using its built-in threading feature and numbered threading path.

Especially suited for quilting, the 3160QDC-B has a 7-piece feed dog, drop feed, and Janome’s Superior Feed System. This ensures the correct advancement of all fabrics, from delicate to some heavier types, even multiple layers of fabric. It also has adjustable foot pressure.

Weighing only 14 pounds and with a convenient fold-down handle on top, the Janome 3160QDC-B can be easily transported. It has a convertible free arm design with an accessory compartment in the table and comes with an additional extension table for a bigger workspace. It also comes with a hardcover. The machine runs quietly and is very stable in spite of its smaller size and weight.

Additional accessories that come with this model include 7 different all-purpose and quilting presser feet, a supply of bobbins and needles to start with, maintenance and cleaning tools, and more. The bonus quilting kit adds 3 more presser feet including a quilting walking foot, quilt and cloth guides.

The Janome 3160QDC-B is protected by Janome’s 25-year mechanical parts warranty, a 5-year warranty on electrical parts, and a 1-year warranty on labor.

    response time to order

Posted by Dorothy Peters on 13th Sep 2020

I was in the middle of a queen-sized quilt when my current Janome died. I phoned every Janome dealer in our state and was told that there were none available in New Mexico. Frantic! I called you and my new Janome was delivered within 3 days. The package included several items that were extra charge in my previous machine - the case, the quilting accessories, etc. Just amazing service. Thank you.

Love this new machine with the thread cutting button, saves so much time, and saves thread, too! So easy to set up and start sewing, right out of the box.

This is my 3rd Janome machine! I've never had a problem with them, I'm diligent about keeping them clean and in working order. Got the machine the day after I placed my order!!!

    Janome 3160QDC-B Sewing

Posted by Mary Foemmel on 2nd Mar 2018

I have only just started to use my new sewing machine. I think I'm going to love it! My daughter has the same machine and I have used it just a little. I have a long way to go to make use of all the features as I am moving up from a very basic 18 year old Janome. So far so good. I'm off to more sewing adventures!
