Very Good Choice
As with all things Janome it is a little expensive. That being said, you get more from their products, at least I think so. Set up is easy, makes thread changes easier. Balanced. I like the five thread choice more than the multi tier ones which do not always stay together and become tangled.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT A 5 STAR BUT THE SMALL THREAD GUIDE DOES NOT INSERT ALL THE WAY IN. THIS SMALL PIECE IS INSERTED WHERE WE USUALLY PUT THE EXTRA SPOOL PIN IF WE ARE GOING TO USE 2 SPOOLS OF THREAD USUALLY WHEN WE USE A TWIN NEEDLE. IT ASO HINDERS THE TOP LID FROM CLOSING ALL THE WAY. THE STAND HOWEVER SCREWS IN PERFECTLY BEHIND THE MACHINE. THE COVER TO THE MACHINE DOESN'T SIT QUITE FLUSH EVEN WHEN I LOWERED THE THREAD GUIDE POST. HOPEFULLY JANOME WILL CORRECT THE SMALL THREAD GUIDE PROBLEM. IT'S POSSIBLE THIS STAND WAS PROBABLY DESIGNED BEFORE THE JANOME 15000? OTHER THAN THE SMALL THREAD GUIDE FITTING TOO TIGHT AND NOT INSERTING ALL THE WAY DOWN, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
