Janome 634D MyLock Serger with Premier Package
The Janome MyLock 634D with electronic control is the most advanced MyLock serger. It has 2 needles and 2-, 3- or 4-thread overlock stitching. The Janome MyLock 634D features differential feed ratio, which is adjustable from .05 to 2.25 and provides increased control for handling all types of fabrics and for creating desired special effects.
Threading is a breeze with the Janome 634D due to its color-coded thread guides and a self-threading lower looper. Simply lay the thread into the guide, flip a switch, and the lower looper is threaded. The guide is automatically returned to its normal position when you turn the balance wheel. And when you lift the presser foot for rethreading, the thread tensions are automatically released so you can draw the thread smoothly.
The MyLock 634D also lets you quickly switch to rolled hemming without changing the needle plate. A lower looper pre-tension stitch eliminates the need to change tension for rolled hems.
When you want to make the most of your serging time and yield professional results, the MyLock 634D is unmatched.

Almost 10 years now...still going strong
I bought this almost 10 years ago from Sewvacdirect.. It has never given me a problem other than 3 sets of blades and 3 cords ( ya don't ask what I do to them - I seem to break them .. user issue).. I sew everyday... I run duck cloth through this, I run linen and canvas as well... This machine was recommended to me by Mark here at Sewvacdirect and he certainly knew what I needed.. It is not hard to thread or change the blades.. Excellent machine!!!!!

20 years now!!!
I purchased my Janome MyLock Serger just over 20 years ago. It was on sale for $700.00 I thought that was crazy.... I was so wrong. I've sewn in industrial settings , production line ... sweat shop environments. I'm hard on my sewing equipment. Since then I've purchased other , shall we say lesser machines, They just can't cut the mustard. Six months their Trash. I always go back to old faithful. If I took as good a care of my car as I take of my Janome, well I would be walking. Other than cleaning and oiling, she is completely neglected except when I get the wild hair to run her into the ground. If it were a horse I,d have to put her down. Guess its time to replace her loopers and maybe her knives. But she still runs smoother than any other house hold serger I've ever owned. And yes I would and shall buy another.
