Janome sewing machine
It has been a long time since I had a new machine. This one, so far is what I needed for the price. It runs with ease, has the strong basics I was looking for in the type of sewing I have done. It has inspired me to expand the sewing projects I would like to take on. I read other reviews and this machine seemed to have pleased many others before me, that is why I purchased it. If you want a work horse, I think this could be it!

I love my Janome.
I received my Janome Sewing machine so quickly after I ordered it. I couldn't believe it came so quickly and there was no shipping. I haven't used the machine very much yet but I really like they way it handled with the few hems I did. I also like that it has a needle threader since having to wear bifocals it is difficult the thread normally. This is a feature I have had on other machines and I am happy this one has it. The feed dogs work very well to push the fabric through. I got rid of my old machine because it bogged down way too often causing much frustration.

This is great basic machine. However, the only option that it does not have that I wish it did is a stitch width regulator.

Great for all abilities.
I bought this machine as a beginner, but have learned a lot, and it's still great. I find that you do need to use Janome bobbins and needles, for the best sewing.
