The Janome Horizon Memory Craft 9400 QCP Upgrade Kit contains a machine upgrade that unlocks Ruler Work capabilities and four new presser feet. The ruler foot upgrade kit unlocks new features in order to use the ruler foot and other feet in the upgrade kit. Since this machine contains auto presser foot lift, damage could result if you use the ruler foot without upgrading the machine.

- Open Toe Darning foot
- ¼” Foot without flange

Janome 9400 Upgrade Kit
Had to research a bit, but found that this kit allows me to use the Janome ruler foot just like the Janome 9450 - along with getting 3 other presser feet. Competitive pricing compared to other sites I found. Very responsive customer service and fast mailing. Can't wait to go play! It's like having a whole new machine!

Upgrade was very easy to install. Have not had a chance to use my machine yet. But, I do have to say I just love my 9400. Had upgraded from an 8900.

Janome Memory Craft 9400 update
A much anticipated and much needed update to facilitate free motion quilting. Update was easily installed from a memory stick, and the package included four different FMQ feet. Price was less than other retailers, it was shipped free, and came in less than a week.
