This size 14 needle is equipped with a larger eye, which helps to prevent the thread breakage that can occur when working with tricky threads, such as metallic.

Nice needles, but needs written description for usage
I'm not sure whether or not I'm imagining that these needles work with few shredding issues than other brands, but it seems so to me. I wish there was wording on the packaging, in addition to the color coding, to specify purpose as I forget which color does what and have to look it up.
