Genuine Janome Sewing Red Tip Needles (Size 14)

Designed for designer embroidery

Red Tip is designed for denser embroidery. Created in the same style as the classic Blue Tip needle, the Janome Red Tip needle provides the extra strength and durability needed for denser embroidery and thicker fabrics. This size 14 needle is equipped with a larger eye, which helps to prevent the thread breakage that can occur when working with tricky threads, such as metallic.

These needles works in all Janome embroidery machines.

    love color coding

Like the color coding because it's almost impossible to tell the size of the needle without it

    My machine works like new

All I know is my machine kept jamming and missing stitches until I bought these. Now it works wonderfully. Not all machines accept universal needles so if you have a Janome and it's giving you fits, try these. Worked for me!

You just can't go wrong with Janome products!

I have a Janome Horizon Memory Craft 12000 Sewing & Embroidery Machine that I absolutely love. However, in the past I've absolutely hated embroidering with specialty threads or on thick, dense fabrics because no matter how hard I tried adjusting everything, threads would break and/or jam. Believe me, constant thread breakage or the formation of the dreaded rat's nest of bobbin thread while you are stitching out your embroidery design is the last thing you want to encounter! Even the expensive titanium coated embroidery needles didn't help; changing the type of bobbin thread I was using made no difference, etc., etc., etc. Then I got smart and read my machine's manual and watched the great online tutorials Janome has available (the old adage "when all else fails, read the directions" applies in my situation, LOL). That's where I learned about using these red-tip needles, and they really do make a HUGE difference! No more thread breakage even with metallic thread (probably the most dreaded type of thread out there for machine embroiderers), and gone are the bobbin thread rat's nests. Another tip I will pass along is making sure that your thread is being wound off the spool/cone correctly, especially with metallic threads. I picked up the Superior Thread Holder so that my spools of metallic thread could be wound off correctly because the way my Janome machine mounts the thread spool can cause twists to form, and that means thread breakage. All in all, I highly recommend these needles. The cost more than your run of the mill embroidery needles, but they are worth every penny!

    Great Needles

I really like these needles when I need a size 14. They seem to last a long time before needing to be replaced.
