Janome Style J Cherry Blossom Bobbins (25 Pack)

I have purchased the cherry blossom case and bobbins (Part Number: 200277062) twice now. Each order I received exactly what was pictured and in excellent condition. The Janome "J" bobbin is made of a special rubber and plastic combination which allows them to better hold threads, absorb machine vibration and reduce noise. When using a generic bobbin you certainly can hear the difference. Love them so much I will soon be ordering a third!

These bobbins are exactly as described and look on line. I received them today and find the quality is good and they fit my bobbin winder real well. I debated if I wanted to spend the extra money for these, but am glad I did. I like the fact they are colored (they also sell blue ones) as I can immediately determine these are for my Janome, rather than the clear bobbins that fit another brand of machine. I recommend them.

Extra bobbins are a must since it is a real pain to try to unwind and rewind only a few bobbins when one usually sews with many colors of threads. I like the fact that they are pink because I can instantly differentiate between my blue bobbins for my Pfaff machine and my pink bobbins for my Janome machine. Colored bobbins are wonderful!

These are "J" style bobbins with a cherry blossom motif--the famous symbol of Japan, the "sakura." They are also very pretty but useful. Supposedly, the Janome J bobbins are manufactured out of a special synthetic rubber and plastic mixture to grip the thread as it winds on and off, and to absorb machine vibrations in the bobbin case. Janome is known for their patent on round bobbin (the name "Janome" means eye of the snake and refers to the shape of the bobbin. Previously, machines used an oscillating bobbin with a shuttle shape, and my mom's sewing machine in the Fifties had that shuttle bobbin--the black and gold Singer with a curved wood case. A classic.) Supposedly, the long history of bobbin research makes the Janome machines more resistant to bobbin tangling, and I think I've only made one thread nest in my Janome ever. This is a very pretty set and if you have limited time to sew, keeping a box full of bobbins that are pre-wound with your favorite colors is a way to make sure you are ready to go. I wind up white, red, black, gray, brown, cream and navy and a shade of green (chartreuse) that I use a lot. And pink, of course!

Product arrived in perfect condition! I love the case ... But I really appreciate that these are true "J'" bobbins.. Not generics. May cost a little more but definitely worth the quality. And they match my new DC5100 .. :)

I love these bobbins! I am a quilter and I have different machines and they each use a different type of bobbin. I usually mark them with a marker, but these I can recognize by sight. Great job and great product!!!!

I love the bobbins! The only thing was the pretty box arrived shattered. So sad....it was a pretty one.

These arrived quickly and when I opened the package I was really impressed by the gorgeous colour that they are. They will make sewing even more pleasurable. I needed more bobbins badly; so why not get pretty ones? They are easy to find in the sewing basket, and I wanted to get the limited edition before they are all gone. Beautiful bobbins.
