A popular foot with patchworkers for that essential 1/4 inch seam. The guide on the foot enables you to sew a perfect 1/4 inch seam every time. The guide can also be used wherever a 1/4 inch seam is called for but the markings on the needle plate cannot be used, such as when completing a flat-felled seam.

I make doll clothes for my Granddaughter. All my patterns designate 1/4" seams, so this foot is a snap. It works very well, even when I'm sewing slowly. It makes my hobby even more enjoyable, and I would recommend this product unconditionally. As well, it arrived via USPS on time and undamaged. Three cheers for Sew-Vac Direct and the US Postal Service.
