The Hemmer Foot is used to stitch the narrow rolled hems usually found on shirt tails, table linens, and along the edges of frills. The hemmer is designed with a scroll shaped feed on top and a straight groove on the underside which determines the width of the finished hem. The 4 mm / 6 mm set will allows for the use of heavier fabrics.
A little hard to work with, not sure how anyone gets a consistent hem with this.

Works well...but I had to hem a chiffon bridesmaid's dress and ended up not using it because...chiffon. BUT I did test it out on other fabrics (like the lining) and it works well for that.

This saved me so much time. I was down to the wire and had to finish sewing tablecloths right before the party. If I didn't have this foot, there would be no way that I could have done it. I didn't need to press the hem.
