Amazing machine
I had some doubts about the servo engine, but it's a life saver. FINALLY, no more humming motor sound to drive you crazy. Delivered on time, fully assembled. Great service. Used daily for miles and miles of straight sewing. You'll love this machine !

Fast, sturdy, basic workhorse.
I have 4 Consew industrial machines for my business and this is my first Juki and first servo motor. The machine is solid, priced right, with everything you need. No bells or whistles. Just basic to get the job done. The table is a little lacking but solid. But the servo motor. I wish I knew what I know now when I bought the first 4. Definitely a must. I am going to replace all the other motors with the servo. The others sound like airplane engines and you have to turn off the machine every time you finish your task. Great investment if you need some serious straight stitching.

Juki DDL-8700
Fantastic industrial machine for the price of a plastic home machine. Comes completely assembled on a full sized stand. Doesn't have all the crazy stitches or computer control, just sews straight. Uses standard industrial feet. This is a wet oil bath machine. Highly recommend if you just need a heavy duty straight machine.

SERVO MOTOR!
I'm a fashion designer with a BFA. I've had a lot of experience with these machines and finally decided to just take the next step and purchase my own. By far the best machine you will ever purchase. The machine comes prepared ready for use, it is delivered already assembled on a palate. My machine shipped directly from Amazon. The servo motor WOW no comparison at all to the regular motor! SPLURGE to get the servo motor, you will thank me later! This makes the machine 100% silent when the motor is running compared to the headache of noise from the regular Juki motor while it is on. The stitches are always consistent and just unbelievably perfect! The only issue I have is the drawer that comes with the machine does not open unless I struggle with two hands for a while to pry it open. Just bad luck during production of the table on that one. The tracks of the drawer were assembled too closely to one another. Not a deal breaker at all for me though. The drawer can always be fixed with minimal headache. The purchase comes with table, machine and adjustable light mounted onto the table. Also included to start you off is the presser foot, needles, 2 bobbins, the bobbin case and some screw drivers. Gathering foot, left and right zipper foot all need to be purchase separate, I luckily already owned said feet. Overall very satisfied.

Bought this to sew various types of materials from thin cotton to leather, wish I had bought this Badass machine sooner! I will eventually also buy a walking foot machine to see thicker leather and seams but for right now this fits my needs perfectly

Putting it Together
I love the Juki sewing machine. I have bought two from City Sewing! The first one arrived put together, very easy! This one came in three boxes that we had to assemble. The table , the motor, and the machine itself. Nightmare! I had no way of knowing which way it was coming until UPS showed up with the boxes. There is good and bad with both ways. After assembling I know how my machine works and now feel I can service it more such as change a belt. The instructions are in Chinese. City Sewing HAS A YOUTUBE CHANNEL! You will have to follow the videos for any hope of successfully putting this thing together. They do need a video on how to set up the bobbin winder. They kind of drop off at that point. There was another person who had made the bobbin winder video and that was very helpful so search for it on youtube. We had to drill holes to install the winder and placement has to be precise. Also make sure the belt is clear of the table when you install the motor. It's easy to fix if it touches, you can loosen the bolts on the motor and slide it a bit to clear the belt. To assemble, you will need a good day and someone with some strength. I never could have done it by myself. It took us all day on Sunday to get it done. It's not really difficult, but you have to follow the directions for things to come together as they should. I wish there was an option to purchase either put together or not. I probably would pay more to have it arrive together. I give them five stars because it is a great machine and it worked out.

fantastic machine
I'm a fashion design graduate and I bought this machine as a graduation present to myself. It is one of the models that my school uses. It's a reliable and versatile machine. However it's the Servo motor that makes it exceptional. The motor is ninja silent, has adjustable RPM's this is very useful when you want to slow the stitching speed down for more precise work. It comes fully assembled on a giant pallet. All you have to do is remove from the pallet, add oil, and make fine adjustments to the tension. It even comes with a foot, bobbin and case and a couple needles (maybe I was only surprised by this because school made us buy these separately). I couldn't be happier with the machine and the customer service
