Juki MO 1000 Serger
The Juki MO 1000 is a home serging machine that takes all the hassle out of threading a serger. This model is loaded with important features that not only produce a great seam but take the mystery out of serging. Perfect for the sewist just learning to serge, the MO 1000 offers all the quality that Juki is noted for in a compact, convenient machine.
The MO 1000 is a 4-thread, 2-needle serger and overlock machine that comes packed with the most important features, including Juki’s special Jet-Air threading technology. No longer is threading the loopers a hassle, as this machine threads itself at the push of a button using only a burst of air sent from the electric motor! Threading mistakes, struggling with thread guides, and poor quality stitches are a thing of the past with the MO 1000.
In addition to the amazing air looper threader, the MO 1000 also has automatic needle threading, an upper looper 2-3 thread converter function, and knob-adjustable differential feed. It also has easy stitch length and thread tension dials for perfect, custom adjustment with any fabric. These and other features make serging different types of fabrics, including knits, quick and easy while obtaining the best results. It has a top sewing speed of 1500 SPM for quick, easy serging, overlocking, and hemming.
The throat between the top of the machine and the needle plate is over 70mm high, providing ample space for working. The workspace is brightly lit by a built-in, cool-running LED light that, combined with the throat space, makes the MO 1000 very user-friendly and easy to work with.
Other features of the Juki MO 1000 that make it a versatile machine for producing professional quality garments and other items include adjustable presser foot pressure, cut width adjustment, the ability to deactivate the upper knives, a thread trimming blade, and a convenient waste collection bin to keep things neat. The machine also has a safety mechanism that prevents it from running while the presser foot is up.
The MO-1000 is a compact machine measuring approximately 13” x 11” but it’s 20 lb weight makes it solid and stable when in use. This quiet running machine comes with a standard presser foot, a supply of needles and a threader, a tweezer and other machine cleaning tools, thread nets, a guide bar, an accessory pouch, a vinyl cover, and much more.
The MO 1000 is covered by Juki’s 5-year warranty on mechanical parts, 2-year warranty on electrical parts, and includes 90 days of labor and adjustment coverage. Warranty applies only for personal use machines; commercial use of this machine voids the warranty.

Simply Awesome!
My daughter purchased Juki MO-1000 Serger Push Button Jet Air for me from Amazon. Delivered promptly - everything intact. Love this machine...had it a few months now, use it almost daily with no issues. Even grandchildren 6,7 and 9 years old, have used it (with adult supervision) to make their very own pillow cases. Please Note: It has occurred to me recently why there are not more reviews on Amazon for this product. This is an expensive item and readily available at Juki dealers throughout USA...thus customers go to get hands-on, free lessons and demonstrations. and buy from local dealers. Not to mention local repair service if need be. Those who are shut-ins, or there are no Juki dealers within reasonable driving distance...buy online. No Juki dealers in my area so daughter ordered it for me online. I'm thrilled with it and highly recommend. Jet Air threading is awesome.

I would buy it again.
Wife wanted a serger. I did the research. This is what I bought. She loves it, and I'd buy it again. Here's why: 1. Wasn't sure the air feed was worth a $300 adder, but it is. 2. Amazon was $300 cheaper than local store. I love supporting locals, and went there to see what they could do for me, but that's 25% difference. 3. Janome is a maintenance hog, and makes you say bad words. 4. Babyloc is good, just more expensive for the same basic features, and is made in the Brother factory. 5. You don't need the MO-1500 with electronic adjust tension. Just more electronic crap to break (and I'm an electrical engineer).

Incredible Serger - Threading a Breeze!!
I just bought this yesterday and WOW!! I didn't buy this one from Amazon only because I found a better price and I was able to trade another big brand which I disliked for threading. I was able to remove all the thread and had threaded in about 5 min took longer first time as I did not get enough thread pushed down far enough the first time; once I did was able to finish threading using the needle threader. In all my years of sewing and many sergers later, this is my favorite and easiest to thread. I really wanted a different brand that has a specialty stitch but could not justify the cost. I also have the juke 734 which I bought from Amazon like the machine but this one puts it to shame on the ease of threading. I can honestly say the extra money was worth it!

JUKI MO-1000 Serger - many good features!
Just received My Juki MO-1000 serger and am pleased as punch. It has a needle threader AND the jet air assisted threading for the loopers. Also the scrap catcher is nice. I bought the OTHER serger with air assist and no needle threader many years ago for $1800.00 floor model. And this costs me at least $500.00 less. Todays price on the OTHER serger is $2100.00 so the savings is considerable. I was told that Juki made the OTHER serger machines for them. Their engineers designed it but Juki manufactured them since the OTHER didn't have a factory.

Love this machine!
This is the third serger I have owned; each time I have upgraded to a better model. The Juki MO1000 is a dream to thread; no more fears or frustration when changing thread colors. The air threading is wonderful and easy to use and the stitch quality is great. The machine also maintains that stitch quality throughout the stitching process. I've owned this for about 2 months and have no complaints. My only frustration is the manual. Instead of separate sections for different languages, Juki has all languages together in each chapter making the manual less user friendly.

I didn't buy it from Amazon but I love mine. Had it since the end of October
I didn't buy it from Amazon but I love mine. Had it since the end of October. I used to have a Brother 1034d and couldn't get past the threading. The jet air threaders work wonders with serger thread and maxi stretch thread (like wooly nylon). I compared it to the Babylock with jet air threading and this beats theirs in price.
