Juki Piping Pressure Foot for models MO-1000, 2000
Bought for my new MO-2800 serger. It’s perfect. Just made PJ’s with piping for the grandkids. Being a genuine Juki part there was no “hoping it works with my machine “, and the handy markings on the front edge of the foot let me know exactly where the left and right needles are. There is even a slot in the foot so you can see the piping or cord. Another interesting thing you can do is sew zippers for bags / pockets with it. Yes, the bottom and top of the zipper has to hang over the edges of the project, but it will easily hold the zipper teeth while you feed the fabric project to be serged together. Fast. One other interesting thing I found out on accident…..it works great as a Gathering foot. I ment to attach the regular pressure foot back on my new MO-2800 serger , to try out its capabilities in light gathering for set-in sleeve caps ( increase stitch length to 4, set differential to 2, use 2 needles , leave tensions at 4 ). After realizing my mistake, I realized the Piping Foot did a better job of gathering up fabric. I’m very pleased with my purchase and the price and service at Premier Stitching is why I am a repeat customer.
