The absolute best for topstitching not piecing
This is the absolute best for topstitching jeans and denim jackets . For the people looking for a 1/4 inch piecing foot this is not it. The area left of the guide edge is raised to accommodate the difference in thickness when topstitching seam allowance down like a welt or flat felled seam. It is not going to make proper contact with thin cotton for it to feed properly.

Juki 1/4” edge compensating foot
The foot appears to be made well. I could not get a true 1/4” using it though.

great when used correctly
This foot works well for topstitching by a seam. I also thought I could use it for quilt piecing but it does not work well for that, any loose edge threads get caught in the hinged foot and the pieces do not feed smoothly.

Ok Foot
This foot did produce the 1/4" seam, but I noticed that it did bunch up, while I was chain piecing. You have to lift the foot with every piece. That was the only draw back.
