Juki TL2000Qi High Speed Sewing and Quilting Machine

When you’re sewing quilts, having a suitable machine is essential to achieving beautiful, professional results. If you've been looking for a specialized sewing machine to help you improve your quilt making, look no further than the Juki TL2000Qi.

Known as one of the best quilting machines on the market, the TL-2000Qi creates consistently even stitches resulting in the most polished projects. One of the best things about this machine is that it performs like a top-of-the-line machine but is priced well below similarly capable machines.

While the Juki TL2000Qi is not considered a beginner’s quilting machine, its features make it easy enough so any beginner quilter can start sewing or quilting with just a bit of extra effort.

The Juki TL2000Qi’s auto needle controls allow quick adjustment of the needle position, making it easier to turn corners or end stitching seams. You can also use the automatic threader and thread cutter or control the needle manually.

The Juki TL2000Qi is a lockstitch machine, so there is only one needle and one stitch which makes it suitable for working with a variety of different threads. Stitch length can be adjusted, making it possible to work with layered materials and different fabric weights. Additionally, you can seamlessly trim thread with just the press of a foot pedal or use the thread trimming button on the LED screen.

A powerful LED light makes it possible to clearly see even the finest details of your project. If you need a larger surface, the Juki TL2000Qi’s extension table provides plenty of space while working on a big quilt or pattern.

Keep your hands free and on your project with the Juki TL2000Qi knee-lift lever that lets you raise and lower the presser foot with your feet. The Juki TL2000Qi’s durable design means no shaking, vibrations or excess noise.

When you purchase the TL2000Qi, Juki provides a 5-year mechanical defect warranty, a 2-year electrical defect warranty and a 90-day period for any manufacturing defects.

Product Features:

Automatic Thread Trimmer
Trim through the thickest threads with Juki’s industrial grade trimming mechanism. The Juki TL2000Qi is equipped with an automatic thread trimming device that simultaneously cuts the needle and bobbin threads at the sewing end by lightly pressing the push-button.

Automatic Needle Threader
Juki’s automatic needle threader allows you to easily thread needles with just the push of a lever—saving time and eyestrain.

Easy Bobbin Replacement
Removing and replacing the bobbin is a snap with Juki’s new bobbin case latch and enlarged bobbin case area.

Knee Lifter Lever
The knee lifter lever allows you to lift / lower the presser foot without using your hands.

Adjustment of Presser Foot Pressure
Presser foot pressure can be adjusted according to the fabric being sewn by turning a regulator located on the top of the machine.

Needle Up/Down Control
The machine will stop the needle in the down position when you stop sewing to allow pivoting action or more accurate free motion work. The needle can be moved up and down with the simple push of a button.

Even Feed Foot
Juki’s even feed foot allows you to sew the most difficult fabrics such as knits and vinyl-coated materials without the machine shaking or stopping.

    AMAZINGGGGG MACHINE...THANKS JUKI!!!

Posted by Ashley Cornicovain on 28th Sep 2017

Omg this machine is AWESOME.... I am a high end couture designer who designs for some of the wealthiesy and powerful women in America and I know quality....and I also only wear clothes I design..... I do miss my industrial Juki machine but I dont't have room in here for it so this a step right below that.... it's solid hard steel yet still has computerized functions... get the tension between the vobbin and needle right and you are smooth sailing!!!

It is easy to control the speed with the foot pedal so ...

Posted by R. Coley on 28th Sep 2017

After researching and researching I decided to splurge on a new Juki - I went back and forth between this and the 2010, but decided it wasn't worth the extra $$$ to get the newer model. It is easy to control the speed with the foot pedal so I am very glad I gave it a try. I quilted a baby quilt on it first using just regular Coats and Clark thread and it did just fine :) I know it's linty, will just have to clean it more often. No tension issues. The thread cutter is my absolute favorite feature - save so much time and thread! I read both negative and positive reviews before buying big ticket items and after reading through the manual I think many people's complaints could have been solved fairly easily - not all, no, but the vast majority. I also am happy to have something that's not computerized... sure, there are some electrical features, but the majority of the features are mechanical. Yay!

This is a great quilting machine

This is a great quilting machine. I use it on my Pennywinkle quilt frame. I have had it a few weeks and have managed to quilt 3 queen sized quilts so far. It runs so smoothly. You have to remember to add oil but the book shows you exactly where to put the oil. It has only one stitch but it makes for a wonderful machine to quilt with. If you decided to get this machine, you will love it!

Strong, Solid and Sleek - perfect step-up machine

Posted by K Ritter on 28th Sep 2017

I had my eye on this machine for at least 5 years before I purchased it. I'd been sewing on a $200 Brother starter machine and turned out some good quality quilt tops and clothing on it, but eventually it wore out. I have a 30 year old Husquevarna viking that still runs beautifully but it just can't handle the FMQ like I wanted. This JUKI is absolutely all I had hoped for. The noise is so minimal, it doesn't bounce around the table even when I sew at high speeds--speaking of which, no more getting impatient with your top sewing speed on this machine. I worried about not having the speed control like on the 2010 model, but I wasn't willing to pay the extra price just for that. The foot control is good on this and I needn't have worried; I can go any speed comfortably. Remember to read the instructions and oil all points before you start. The throat is not as wide as one might expect, but you don't really need a full-on longarm in most cases. The extra height and 1.25 inches or so of throat space is plenty for most quilters. You can buy a frame or build on if you like, or just quilt even a large king quilt in quarters. The thread trimming works great and so far I haven't had any problems with starting again right away, even when the bobbin thread is invisible after trimming. NICE. The knee lifter lever is a time saver too, although I don't use it consistently because I have 3 little ones who are very curious. If you, like me, have LO's in the house and plan to leave this machine out, do use the cover and unplug all the cords when you leave it, just to be safe, and don't have it on anything that could be pulled down. She's not a move-around-often machine and could really do damage if she fell. I wish this particular package had come with a few more bobbins, but it's not a big deal. We always need more bobbins anyway. Basically, this is not a starter machine, but is absolutely perfect for a step up in your game and one that will last you a good long time if you take care of her. The feet are so sturdy and i like the threading--reminds me of my grandmother's 1950s Necchi that I learned to sew on--and nothing could shop that one. I have a feeling this lovely sleek and powerful JUKI will be just the same.

JUKI TL-2000Qi Sewing and Quilting Machine

Posted by R. Dahl on 23rd Sep 2017

My wife and I gave my sister our old Grace Frame and then found out she did not have a quilting machine, Since my wife kept the machine (Juki TL98Q) that came with the Grace Frame, we figured we would get her a machine that we new had a good reputation. She has been quilting up a storm with the setup she now has.
