Juki TL2000Qi High Speed Sewing and Quilting Machine
When you’re sewing quilts, having a suitable machine is essential to achieving beautiful, professional results. If you've been looking for a specialized sewing machine to help you improve your quilt making, look no further than the Juki TL2000Qi.
Known as one of the best quilting machines on the market, the TL-2000Qi creates consistently even stitches resulting in the most polished projects. One of the best things about this machine is that it performs like a top-of-the-line machine but is priced well below similarly capable machines.
While the Juki TL2000Qi is not considered a beginner’s quilting machine, its features make it easy enough so any beginner quilter can start sewing or quilting with just a bit of extra effort.
The Juki TL2000Qi’s auto needle controls allow quick adjustment of the needle position, making it easier to turn corners or end stitching seams. You can also use the automatic threader and thread cutter or control the needle manually.
The Juki TL2000Qi is a lockstitch machine, so there is only one needle and one stitch which makes it suitable for working with a variety of different threads. Stitch length can be adjusted, making it possible to work with layered materials and different fabric weights. Additionally, you can seamlessly trim thread with just the press of a foot pedal or use the thread trimming button on the LED screen.
A powerful LED light makes it possible to clearly see even the finest details of your project. If you need a larger surface, the Juki TL2000Qi’s extension table provides plenty of space while working on a big quilt or pattern.
Keep your hands free and on your project with the Juki TL2000Qi knee-lift lever that lets you raise and lower the presser foot with your feet. The Juki TL2000Qi’s durable design means no shaking, vibrations or excess noise.
When you purchase the TL2000Qi, Juki provides a 5-year mechanical defect warranty, a 2-year electrical defect warranty and a 90-day period for any manufacturing defects.

Strong, quiet, work horse machine
The machine is just what I ordered. Here's to a long association with my 2000.

easy to handle
I bought this machine along with a different brand last May which is when I started quilting; this one is in my second home where we spend about one or two long weekends a month. When I compare the other machine I bought, this one is a dream. I have to agree that I cannot use the automatic needle threader either, but I can't use it on the first machine I bought either. However, this one runs a nice straight seam, has plenty of room for the quilt in the throat area and has been easy to use. I do oil it each time I use it since it is usually once or twice a month that we are there, but I have not had issues with breaking needles or missed stitches, nesting, tension or other issues that I have had with the first machine.

Sews through thick layers with ease!
I had a straight stitch machine by another brand and loved it, but heard so many good things about Juki that I decided to get this machine too. At the time I bought it, I didn't realize there were other nearly identical Juki's. This Juki is the Qi, and is less money than the "Q" because it comes with fewer feet and one less threading tension disk, which I guess I didn't realize when I decided to buy this one. But my other brand machine only had the one tension disk anyhow, so I was used to that. I didn't really need the extra feet the more expensive one came with either, so I think I made the right choice and saved $350 over the same machine with those extras. The Juki sews through thick layers and fast! Great to bag making and piecing quilts and quilting too. I have no problem quilting with the walking foot, but for some reason whenever I try to free motion quilt and use a matching thread on the back and a different color on the front, the bobbin thread always shows through. I have adjusted it and tried everything and the same problem. So I am sticking to quilting with a walking foot on this machine only. Maybe after I take it in for servicing, the tech might fix that? I did buy the 1/4" foot with the guide that is made for this Juki and love that foot! That is all I needed to buy extra (besides some bobbins). This is a high shank machine, so I already had high shank presser feet from my other machine that work on this one too. I love how the thread cuts by pressing down on your heel on the foot petal or pushing the button. The needle threader is a bit tricky to get the hang of, so find how to thread this machine on a YouTube video, because the instructions are not clear in the manual for it. Other than that, this is a simple to use and maintain machine and I will enjoy sewing on it for years to come.

Balanced, smooth running, quiet, auto-cut, QUALITY
It is a great machine! The quality is immediately obvious the first stitch you make. I purchased it for my wife and she couldn't be happier, after years of using lower priced sewing machines. It is well worth the price. Just watch all the videos you can find about it so you can properly thread it and use the features. The auto-cut feature is a huge plus. And I'm amaze how it picks up the bobbin thread again once you resume sewing after cutting.
