Juki TL2000Qi High Speed Sewing and Quilting Machine
When you’re sewing quilts, having a suitable machine is essential to achieving beautiful, professional results. If you've been looking for a specialized sewing machine to help you improve your quilt making, look no further than the Juki TL2000Qi.
Known as one of the best quilting machines on the market, the TL-2000Qi creates consistently even stitches resulting in the most polished projects. One of the best things about this machine is that it performs like a top-of-the-line machine but is priced well below similarly capable machines.
While the Juki TL2000Qi is not considered a beginner’s quilting machine, its features make it easy enough so any beginner quilter can start sewing or quilting with just a bit of extra effort.
The Juki TL2000Qi’s auto needle controls allow quick adjustment of the needle position, making it easier to turn corners or end stitching seams. You can also use the automatic threader and thread cutter or control the needle manually.
The Juki TL2000Qi is a lockstitch machine, so there is only one needle and one stitch which makes it suitable for working with a variety of different threads. Stitch length can be adjusted, making it possible to work with layered materials and different fabric weights. Additionally, you can seamlessly trim thread with just the press of a foot pedal or use the thread trimming button on the LED screen.
A powerful LED light makes it possible to clearly see even the finest details of your project. If you need a larger surface, the Juki TL2000Qi’s extension table provides plenty of space while working on a big quilt or pattern.
Keep your hands free and on your project with the Juki TL2000Qi knee-lift lever that lets you raise and lower the presser foot with your feet. The Juki TL2000Qi’s durable design means no shaking, vibrations or excess noise.
When you purchase the TL2000Qi, Juki provides a 5-year mechanical defect warranty, a 2-year electrical defect warranty and a 90-day period for any manufacturing defects.

Works great
Threading this is no picnic however, once that is done it is a piece of cake. We are VERY happy with how it works and makes our pieces look a good deal more professional.

JUKI MO644D Portable Serger
Very Happy with the Juki MO644D. It's light and a good size that I can carry from table to table. I wanted to get the Industrial one, but I already have the Juki 7800 with the table. So this one is the perfect size. I like the way it stitches and leaves a clean finish. Exactly what I was looking for.

Set up wasn't hard - but wasn't easy. Probably true of any serger
I don't know if it is just me, but I have a heck of a time serging in a straight line! I have tried really hard and had some seasoned seamstresses try to serge in a straight line on this machine - though unsuccessfully. I attribute it so far to lack of familiarity with it. I am hoping my work improves. The manual is concise and not hard to use to trouble shoot. Set up wasn't hard - but wasn't easy. Probably true of any serger. I have asked others how my serger differs from other - possibly more expensive models and have been told by several friends that this model is nicer than theirs. Not sure exactly how though. So far - so good - though not great.

Amazing
I love this serger so much quieter than my brother 1034d

Five Stars
Takes a little getting used to, to thread, but once threaded correctly works well.

It's a nice sturdy machine
I've always wanted a serger. I did my research and decided on this juki serger. It's a nice sturdy machine. Love it

Prethreaded, but no thread included
Packing was secure, everything intact. First impression is that the machine is solid (don't let the word "portable" confuse you). There is a slight chemical (machine oil?) smell, which I imagine will fade with time/use. Was surprised to see that the machine came pre-threaded, as I had read from several reviews, but it does not come with spools of thread. In retrospect I was reading between the lines by expecting spools, but in reality--they appear to thread the machine, do a test stitch, then cut the threads and wrap around a knob. I imagine it will be somewhat of a pain to adjust stitch length and knife distance, and these are behind a housing instead of easily accessible knobs. If this is something you would often adjust, the next model up might be a better choice as these adjustments appear to have a more accessible interface. Also bears to mention that it comes as no surprise that previous reviews mention it being stable while sewing--it has suction feet which are strong and pretty hard to release unless you really want them to (I had to use a butter knife to release the suction).
